Booking Policy for Childhood Chapters Photography
Welcome to Childhood Chapters Photography.
We specialize in capturing the delightful moments of children at childcare centers. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please review our booking policy carefully.
1. Booking Process
Scheduling a Session:

Bookings can be arranged through our website, www.childhoodchapters.co.nz.

Please select detailed information about the childcare center your child attends, select dates and child name and classroom.

A non-refundable full payment of the total portrait fee is required to secure the booking.
2. Confirmation:

Upon receiving the payment, we will send a confirmation email with the session details, including date, time, location, and any special instructions.

Please review the confirmation and notify us of any changes within 48 hours.
3. Cancellations:

​Rescheduling requests are not permitted as sessions are only scheduled on the date of booking at the selected centre.

Refunds are only available due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. Please notify us 24 hours before the booking date via email for a full refund.

Photography sessions booked with Childhood Chapters are non-transferable. They cannot be transferred to another individual or redeemed for cash or any other services.

Exceptions: Refunds will be processed in the following circumstances:

If there is a technical or operational issue on our part that significantly affects the quality or delivery of the photography service and or photography package.

4. Client Responsibility:

It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all details provided at the time of booking, including contact information are accurate and up-to-date.

5. Preparation
-
It’s the parent or guardians' responsibility to insure the child is dressed appropriately for the booking session.
6. During the Session
-
We aim to create a fun and relaxed environment to capture natural expressions and moments.

If the child appears to be unsettled, distressed or uncomfortable, all efforts will be made to comfort the child to participate in a suitable manner.

If all efforts to comfort the child don't succeed, we will wait till the end of the session to attempt a second chance at photographing the child.

If all measures don't work due to the child's unsettled behaviour, a refund will not be permitted. Please, only book with us if your child is comfortable participating for a few moments to be photographed.

Parents will be informed via email if their child was unable to participate in a photography session due to unsettled reasons. We believe in maintaining open communication and transparency with parents regarding their child's experiences.
7. Payment

All payments are securely made online at www.childhoodchapters.co.nz.

We accept payments via credit card only.

Bookings will only be confirmed once a payment has been processed successfully.

A receipt will be emailed to the email address provided on the information form.
8. Post-Session

Once a booking is complete, allow 2-3 weeks after the Photo Day for hard copy packages to be completed and delivered to your child’s centre for collection. Digital copies will be shared on a ‘Google Drive’ with the email address provided in the booking form. To ensure the privacy of all children, we delete all photographs on devices and SD cards the day after packages is delivered. Google drive allows us t o share digital copies safely and directly only to the email provided.
